Oh apparently I had lavander paint instead of pink then Sad

Also got a festive crate like 30 seconds into playing for the first time in a couple weeks <3 Hopefully they'll let you open them for free or whatever

Ok, so TF2 CAN run on a netbook!

However, My FPS is ~10 and drops to ~2-4 when there are bullets involved. I would appreciate it if someone would volunteer to re-teach me how to go about this whole creating a config file business.

Go here Didzo. After you download it, open C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\username\team fortress 2\tf\cfg and put the autoexec config there. Should raise your fps to 30+, if you don't mind craptastic graphics.

gotta follow the instructions in the cfg file as well, and edit your config.cfg to remove anything that's reset in that autoexec. I used the m0refps one though, not the m0rehighfps one.

Yeah, I think that the highfps config comes with instructions. You just have to convert it to a txt file and read what's in it at the bottom. I don't remember exactly what you have to do with it, since I got it and changed it about 6 months ago, but it does work. Also, have you changed the dx level of your tf2 to 8.0 or 8.1 yet? That tacks on an additional 10-20 fps, although it occasionally creates some artifacting.

I think I'll have to pay closer attention to the instructions. Wyattacon has been helping me set up my launch options, so all I need to tackle is the config file.

But seriously, the Atom CPU is NOT intended for TF2.
