I would like to see this bring in a new wave of people, but I don't know how effective it will be.  Let's keep our fingers crossed.

I had an idea awhile back to possibly boost "recruitment" so I'm just gonna post it here instead of making a new thread.  What if during TFT/FNF we had the server name read "Team Fortress Tuesdays hosted by brbuninstalling.com" or "Friday Night Fights see brbuninstalling.com for details".  My thinking is pubs browsing servers will see it and say "Oh cool special locked server event.  Maybe I should check out that website and see if I can get in."

I know that trying to get into TFT/FNF was part of my original motivation for frequenting the server, so maybe if we tell people exactly where we are located we will see more of them coming back.

EDIT: maybe this IS working.  Server 2 was full at 2 am this morning :o

yeah and when i joined at 11-12 there was only one other regular on
im pretty sure server two is sentient and self sustaining
