Me, my sister, my brother and his fiance at Roots of Fire, a reggae club in Playa Del Carmen.


This spider monkey I met at a snorkeling/jungle place. She was very kind and loving, and you had to be careful if she sat down on you because if you got up too quickly she would attack you the keeper warned. There are pictures of me holding her and her sitting on me, but my sister hasn't sent them to me yet. (She was on a leash because she figured out how to get out of the pen they were keeping her in.)


Basically these are the only worthwhile pictures.

Also, I have a funny story about a feminist I was in a Sociology of Religion class with once. She was hardcore, Women's Studies major, Pagan, the whole deal. Super cute too. So one day after we both gave presentations about alternate faiths (hers on Paganism, mine on agnosticism/atheism) I asked her out to lunch. She got real nervous, said she had to go home and take care of her cat, and literally RAN away. It wasn't until I found her on Facebook later that I realized why...

...she was the femme half of a lesbian couple, and subsequently got married to her (butch) girlfriend. D: I found it amusing that she was very vocal about her faith, sexuality (I realized later that her bag was covered with rainbows for a reason) and women's rights but was so nervous when confronted with someone NOT of her sexual preference that she ran away.

Thread has taken a somewhat homophobic turn, however we don't have any lesbians who post so demonize away.

As long as they give up their ways and commit to opposite marriage like god intended, they are fine by me.

Hah, i haven't met a lesbian i didn't like.  In fact, i've never met a lesbian who hated men except in the penis area.  This is why it's always great to hang out with lesbians, they don't think you want to fuck them (or at least know you wont try).  It's like having a sister, but with all that annoying "she's my sister" bull shit.

I have a sister... shes a lesbian.. and she SUCKS... and her GF/fiance (thank you Massachusetts) sucks WAY more.  after watching the "conversion" of being straight and loving the cack to hating it (exactly in the same way she randomly became a vegitarian after being a huge steak lover) I am somewhat skeptic of quite a few women who HATE men and switch sides... seems like those ones are really just lying to themselves enough to believe it.  same with her gf.. total man hater and total butch.. (and scary as hell to boot.)  Classic switch hitters - destroy the image of the whole culture.
