Well, the Oilers should be beastly in a couple years with all the prospects they have.  They just need a decent goaltender, and they're pretty set.

And Carolina should make the playoffs.  They have games in hand on pretty much everyone ahead of them, so if they don't make it they have nobody to blame but themselves.  So naturally they'll lose every game to those teams for the rest of the season

Watching the Packs win the super bowl pretty much made my night. People are still celebrating loudly outside as I attempt to do my homework, I wonder when they'll stop.

My whole entire weekend kicked ass folks.

FRIDAY: I had my lady, Ivy, over for dinner. First time for her to meet my parents. We had spaghetti, and yummy dessert too. Watched some Tv, played a couple games, and got some alone time in my room. I then took her home.

SATURDAY: First real Date with Ivy. To start it off, I picked her up at her house, and drove us down to the local ice-skating ring. We stayed there for about 3 hours, held hands, skated, the usual for a date at a skating ring. Later on in the day, I took her out for dinner at this small Italian resteraunt, named Amonte. Dinner was delicious and she enjoyed it too. We had a lot of time to spare so we decided to go back to my house and hang out there for a while until the dance started at our school. We showed up at the school, got some pictures taken, and met up with my best buddie and his girlfriend and "Got our dance on." The dance itself was pretty lame and we ended up leaving early. Adam, Kayla, Ivy, and I headed back to my place, where we just chilled for a while. Adam left with his date, (He had gotten the hint that I wanted some alone time.) Which I did have. I then took Ivy home, and got her home 5 minutes before curfew.

SUNDAY: Superbowl Sunday... Her dad invited me over for the game. First time for me to spend some time with her family. Her dad is kind of intimidating but a funny and respectable guy. Had dinner there, watched the game. Her parents had some of their friends over, it was nice. My extended family (not really extended, see pictures thread) was all at my house, so I took her over there for a little bit to introduce her to them. Took her home...

Good Weekend

TLDR: Hung out with Ivy all weekend.

We had a race this weekend, and beat every other high school by over 300 points (we had 520 and the next closest was 198), which is also the most points a team has ever gotten at that race.
