No it was actually pretty decent!  But apparently it was better without me (my wife wanted to play castle crashers when she finished class).

we had a lot of fun on synergy.

Only problem was pub scrubbing = not an option.

No server's were up to date except for one. One with 287 ping....

So once we got it all figured out we set up a server and had a lot of fun!
