Wrote some assembly for a class yesterday during work.  Came into the lab this morning to debug, works perfectly.

Connector arrived, new adapter still dies whenever power is drawn, but I managed to get it to work with my old adapter with a completely fucked up tip. It's still unstable, but it's working for now. *fingers crossed*

Hopefully it doesn't die after a couple days like the new adapter, but I doubt it will considering I don't fucking hear the electricity flowing like I could with the new adapter.

Earning geek points by dipping my eyeglass stems into Plasti-Dip and making one of a kind earpieces from them. Backup glasses don't have anti-glare and I can't wait for this stuff to dry.

ETA: Cleaned them and bent them back into shape and they're around my giant noggin one again.

Robotics Competition today. We didn't win the main event, but we won the skills competition which is given to the team that can score the most points alone in the play field in 1 minute. This gives you a pass to Disney World. Therefore, WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!

Edit: But I have to go to Disney World with Stein now, so this should be under FML.

I have a laptop adapter that likes to randomly die after it starts to charge the laptop.  Have you tried plugging it in without the battery?

This is in addition to the charger tip I had to reattach with speaker wire and ducttape.
