I'm not even going to bother rooting my new Inspire 4G/Desire HD until CM9 comes out, since that's the only ROM I have any interest in putting on it. The stock one isn't terrible, and I finally have a phone that's not underpowered for its OS so the experience of actually using it is quite nice.

Yeah, that was my experience when I went from the Hero to the Desire HD as well, CM will probably run even faster because of the lack of sense. Tapped from my intellectual robot phone.
