FNF 2009/02/06 - Back Up To Three Games Edition - ScottyGrayskull - 02-13-2009 Well, we have another offer for a host this week. AgentMoo from Destructoid is planning on hosting his XNA game Agent Moo: Maximum Overdeath game tonight. For those who don't know head over to his site to get the full info. Basically it's a platformer/competitive shooter with vehicles and bags of oranges. A fairly simple but pretty fun game when lots of people are playing. For Team Fortress 2 once again I'll be digging through the map pack to find some of the lesser played maps. The the map is good for it I'll do some pickups or RPSes. Please make sure you have the map pack downloaded, as some of these maps are VERY big. It would appear that some people are still having problems with the server, in that you get disconnected on a map change. I do apologize that and want everyone to know that it is being worked on, but please note that this isn't just a problem with our server. If you do have any issues please let myself or any server admin know, with information such as the date/time you got disconnected, the map it was going to, etc. There has been good news on the Left 4 Dead front, where Valve announced that the upcoming DLC is most definitely going to be free. Rejoice! Don't forget about the steam group to help find others to play with The group is invite only, but asking anybody in the group will (or at least should, and if not ask me) get you an invite. ---Standard Info For Everyone--- Agent MOO: Maximum Overdeath (beta) Time: around 11PM ET (4am UTC) Download for free from http://agentmoo.com/AMMO. Re: FNF 2009/02/06 - Back Up To Three Games Edition - Fail Medic - 02-14-2009 What other maps did y'all go through? I got client-timeoutted during... hell, I think it was still Freezers, or the start of the one after, and I said phtphtphpt on that. Re: FNF 2009/02/06 - Back Up To Three Games Edition - Honest - 02-14-2009 Was gonna show, then my friend hooked me up with Dissedia on my PSP and well, the night was just kind of a blur afterwards. Re: FNF 2009/02/06 - Back Up To Three Games Edition - ScottyGrayskull - 02-15-2009 Don't worry about missing out. It was quite the bust. Apparently the idea of "picking random maps from the mappack which supposedly has all good maps" isn't working. I'm going to take this back to the drawing board, and see what I can come up with. As we've said before though, if you have any ideas for event feedback, please let us know. |
