hey all i just recently got garrys mod and im curious about any things i should download for it and any tips or interesting items or premade saves to fool around with any help greatly apreciated

After downloading, select the folders and put them in steamapps/<yurname>/garrysmod/garrysmod and when it asks if you want to merge say, "yes to all". however if it says replace say "NO"
