Parivir own. 8)

Adelle's special class with 5 movement and the ability to hold broadswords + Parivir = super ownage.

Re: FFTA2 Review - Tragic Hero - 10-07-2008

good read sir.  If you could I would break the review down into pages so it's not one wall of text.

I'll see what I can do.  Readability is a vital part of any good website Wink

Re: FFTA2 Review - Wedge - 10-07-2008

I don't think this game got any attention, which is sad, because it's vastly superior to the previous one, and probably a better overall game than FFT.  I liked the plot so far simply of the basis of it not being the ridiculously childish garbage from the first one.  You can tell they PG-ized it to avoid "killing" people most of the time, but outside of the main plot, the amount of work that's gone into the sub-stories and lore from the quests is really quite impressive.  It feels remarkably close to it's Ogre Saga origins, without being totally neutered like FFTA1, or going into ridiculous typical FF magical super power crap like with XII.  I've got 70 hours on it, but am probably only 2/3 through the story or something, because I'm OCD on the quests and am leveling up like 14 characters.

Also, the sort item option is weird, you have to go the "View Items" list by pressing X on your unit screen, and you can sort them there.

Also, Sakimoto's soundtrack is fucking sweet for this, though the best tracks get played very rarely in-game =/.
