Tekkit world. - Azure_Angel - 04-14-2013 Would it be possible to create a world using the Tekkit mod, that doesn't effect the other worlds? Re: Tekkit world. - Didzo - 04-14-2013 Maybe. Re: Tekkit world. - FlyingMongoose - 04-14-2013 Tekkit is an isolated server version. It may have server versions built off of bukkit, but it does not always coincide with latest minecraft version. That being the case, if we ran Tekkit, it would be best to completely wipe the server and start over. But we don't want to do that. The only real viable way to run Tekkit, is to run another server, it can't be done as "another world". Re: Tekkit world. - Didzo - 04-14-2013 Maybe not. Re: Tekkit world. - Azure_Angel - 04-23-2013 (04-14-2013, 06:51 PM)FlyingMongoose link Wrote: Tekkit is an isolated server version. Just out of curiosity, would it be too costly to create a "BRB, Uninstalling Tekkit!" server in addition to our normal one? Re: Tekkit world. - FlyingMongoose - 04-24-2013 My current server, at 20 slots (with no need to expand) costs $13.49/mo through my own NuclearFallout reselling http://www.tunedchaos.com/ (Registration not necessary) |
