My New Plugin - VeraLapsa - 02-17-2011

InventorySort - Sorts your inventory or the chest your looking at.

Needs either Permissions 2.1 or GroupManager

I've also had my plugin added to the CraftBukkitUpToDate plugin.

InventorySort allows you to sort all or part of your inventory ordered on the block/item TypeId number. You can also sort chests in the same manner.

Commands:
  • /sort all - Sorts all of the slots in your inventory(slots 0-35)
  • /sort top - Sorts the "Backpack" slots of your inventory(slots 9-35)
  • /sort 4 35 - Sorts slots 4-35
  • /sort 30 10 - Sorts slots 10-35
  • /sortchest - Sorts all of the slots in a chest or doublechest (alias: /srtc)
  • /sort stack - Toggles whether sorting stack's first (default off) will remember between sessions as long as the server hasn't been restarted.
New in v1.6:
  • Quick Sort algorithm that firs sorts by TypeID, then Damage value(for wool, dye, slabs, logs), and lastly by stack size(So smaller stacks are at the end and easy to find)

  • A wand for sorting chests. Default is a Stick(280) I suggest if you run BigBrother you change it to a Bone(352) or something else so not to mess with BB.
  • Configurable stacking of Tools and Armor(This will not stack by damage value, so all unused tools will stack behind a used tool)
  • New Permissions for wand "iSort.basic.chest.wand" and command based cest sorting is now "iSort.basic.chest.command"

Side Note/Thanks:

The plugin Stacks items first then sorts them. This is based from the stack command in http://forums.bukkit.org/threads/sec-worldguard-v3-2-2-protect-areas-block-fire-info-about-4-x-available.790/']WorldGuard[/URL]. This also used the ItemType.java from it.

Known Issues:
  • May be a problem with the newer builds of craftbukkit, I'm checking this out.
Known Bugs:
  • None that I personally know of
To Do:
  • Faster sorting Algorithm.
  • Make stacking fully configurable.

1. Permissions integration - must give people permission to use the command
2. 2 separate configuration options - 1 that allows people to use a version of the command that will also STACK all items and another that will just do a standard sort, following the normal rules of what can and can't be stacked.
3. Post it HERE so that everyone can enjoy your plugin, not just the BRBU bitches.
