One More Delay for the Update - Maxon - 04-13-2010 From http://badcompany2blog.com/2010/patch-delayed-to-next-week/ Patch delayed to next week DICE was supposed to release new client (R7) and server (R10) updates this week, however, a new forum post on the EA UK forums reveals that the patches shave been moved to next week in order to âallow more bug fixes into both client and server before release which we caught before releasing another versionâ, according to DICE. A change-log for the new updates will be posted shortly â weâll keep you updated. While they are taking FOREVER, at least they don't want to be seen as releasing buggy patches that do more bad than good...anymore lol Re: One More Delay for the Update - Tricks - 04-13-2010 > Re: One More Delay for the Update - Trace - 04-13-2010 As Trick so eloquently put it, > Re: One More Delay for the Update - Kirby - 04-13-2010 (04-13-2010, 08:04 PM)Maxon link Wrote: From http://badcompany2blog.com/2010/patch-delayed-to-next-week/ Fixed Re: One More Delay for the Update - Turtle - 04-13-2010 Valve time? We should put together some squad battles in the meantime since we have excellent hit detection. Shitty hit detection was pissing me right off yesterday. Also we should get some squad practice in so we can stomp team stackers. Last night there was a group of about 6-8 that was stomping my team like crazy. They had the first MCom in that islands level pretty much by the time I spawned and chose my loadout. Then when I was dead I saw 8 traveling as a pack everywhere and rezing the fallen. This kind of thing would make a fun challenge if we assembled on the other team as them. [/quote] to do something like this you'd have to have people that play for the specific purpose of squadding up and playing the objective .. instead of the pug deathmatch that is it now. with my current playtime around the 2hrs per week mark , i like getting on a server , spawn camping the enemy and putting C4 on their tanks. it's very bwner Re: One More Delay for the Update - Surf314 - 04-15-2010 There is supposed to be a surprise coming with this update. Which is good because many people are leaving this game due to network bugs. They need to be bribed back. Most of the complaints I have read on other forums (no heroes, etc) have less to do with netcode, and more to do with a lack of end-game content. Itâs a really front-end loaded game. You install, hop online, and there are endless weapons to unlock, the fun of using C4 for the first time, blasting somebody with the CG or a tube, or even landing a headshot on a helicopter pilot. And then 2 weeks later everything is unlocked, and you had all these epic moments already. I had entire classes unlocked before the early teens. No matter how skilled you are at DMing, you die to a tube, CG rocket, or m60 fire from halfway across the map and have no idea it is coming. So you end having entire squads of people, holding down crouch for 20 minutes with a CG equipped, waiting for somebody to walk by. The only people I see that are hardcore into it still are old CoD4 players that are still strongly boycotting MW2. You meant entire servers, right? I hopped in a SQDM server a few night ago, every single guy besides me was running around seemingly without a primary or secondary weapon, just a Carl, no shit. Was only slightly less retarded and inane than the entire servers of recons camping 2" away from the edge of the map sniping in SQDM. |
