FNF 2009/01/02 - Happy New Year Edition! - ScottyGrayskull - 01-02-2009

Well, 2009 is upon us. First weekend of the new year, and what better way to kick it off than with some Friday Night Fights!

Aside from news about an upcoming update (that'll hopefully have a server browser you don't need the console to get to) it's business as usual for Left 4 Dead. On the Team Fortress 2 front we have one new map:

cp_ramrod: Comes very highly rated on FPSBanana and after a brief run through I thought it may just be epic. CP-style map similar to dustbowl.

Sadly there is still no updated map pack. I have it all collected together, but it won't be finished uploading until later on today. If you've been keeping up with FNF and TFT events you probably won't need it, but newcomers should check back here later today for the download link! Speaking of map downloads, hopefully this weekend we will finish having a new file host up and running for improved map download speeds.

As always, please have the maps downloaded in advance and we look forward to seeing you out tonight! Smile
