PC and Live interplayability - zaneyard - 11-14-2008 cause im too lazy, are you gonna be able to do this i dont have enough space on my PC so im gonna be buying the game for Xbox. does this mean im not gonna be able to play with PC users, or are they trying to connect them? Re: PC and Live interplayability - Vongore - 11-14-2008 As far as i know, you can't Re: PC and Live interplayability - CaffeinePowered - 11-14-2008 (11-14-2008, 01:06 PM)zaneyard link Wrote: i dont have enough space on my PC so im gonna be buying the game for Xbox. -1 Steam lets you delete and redownload anything an unlimited number of times. Get some crap off your hard drive and make room. If your PC is capable of playing a game you should always 100% buy the PC version. And to answer the question, afaik you can not, but the ability may be coded in there somewhere. If it happens look for PC server ops to have plugins to auto-boot console players.... Remember The Orange Box and how many times that got patches and/or additional content? I would say the console version of L4D has a snowflake's chance in hell of ever seeing all that extended support, so by extension I would imagine the console version will not play nice (or at all) with the PC version. Do what caff said or don't even bother getting it. :-\ Re: PC and Live interplayability - Surf314 - 11-14-2008 I prefer console versions to most games except for ones like this.  This is definately a must buy for PC because of user content. Re: PC and Live interplayability - HeK - 11-14-2008 That and FPS's suck on consoles Look at the ShawdowRun fiasco. Side note, I just checked and my Steam folder occupies almost 1/2 of my HDD. Re: PC and Live interplayability - zaneyard - 11-14-2008 yeah, the only big reason that im not doing more pc gaming is that it tends to suffer in the performance department. since i cannot afford to do a rebuild due to my car loan, i am gonna have to stick with the 360. even with everything on low, tf2 and css like to lag a bit. also, it really sucks having a 40 gig hard drive... Im sure you could find a socket 797 or the like on the cheap, also a 80g HDD on newegg is like $30 - 40 OEM. Given that you'd save $15 getting the steam version, that's half the price of a hard drive. Hell, I have a box of 40gb IDE drives here, I'll ship you one for the cost of postage. (11-14-2008, 06:32 PM)Geoff link Wrote: Halo fanboy comment Ever play Halo on PC?
