Oh no some Homestuck - Luinbariel - 04-07-2013

Well... I'll jump on the bandwagon I guess.

Ms. Paint looks like it could be quite cute and fun.

Here's someone who did something like I plan to attempt


Got some white tights on the way, but I'm not going to paint the rest of my skin; honestly, too much to hassle with.

I think I can handle making the skirt. It's going to be knee length and somewhat gathered. Then I'll have the green belt as a separate piece probably, and I have a blue shirt I can modify to match that I think.

Then of course, gotta make the hat... and I'll have the paint can, planning on putting candies in it to give away.

Hat compete. The cat is helping...

Had to make the pink striped fabric myself.

Doing stripes like that is how I do a lot of the colors on my hats

It makes sense, because you won't always find what you're going to need in the store, so... Gotta make it.

I wish I'd made the little ties at the end longer. I had planned to use snaps to close it under my chin, but as it stands I can "tie" it a little bit and tuck them under. If they were longer I could have actually tied them, like the whole kerchief I think that this hat is emulating.

Otherwise I might just leave it as it is... time to think about it.

Nice, the stitching looks very neat. I still don't understand homestuck but at least you're not going to be grey...

Yeah I have no desire to get all painted grey. I think I would not suit any of those characters anyway

Several hours of hand gathering...  Not done yet though. Quitting for the day.
