Re: ACEN 2013 Travel & Accommodations Thread - VeraLapsa - 04-07-2013 Anyone get their badge yet? I know they said that they'd mail them all right after the 1st. Nope Re: ACEN 2013 Travel & Accommodations Thread - [fr31ns]Karrde - 04-07-2013 Negative Re: ACEN 2013 Travel & Accommodations Thread - zaneyard - 04-07-2013 So how many beds are we getting for our VIP suite? I can only assume that there won't be enough room for 10 people? Was looking at getting something like this for this sort of thing and motocamping and shit http://www.aerostich.com/camping/campsite/sleeping-bags-pads/high-tech-cot.html but I don't want to blow 230 on it. Anyone know of anything that is comparable? Or maybe an inflatable mattress or something? karrde I know you brought something last year. I don't feel like sleeping on shitty couch again. Cot General? Re: ACEN 2013 Travel & Accommodations Thread - k0ala - 04-07-2013 Cot is best for sleeping outdoors to keep the bugs off. Indoors, you can get away with one of the blue foam 'sleeping pads' underneath a warm-weather sleeping bag. Those start being good at $30 and up. Re: ACEN 2013 Travel & Accommodations Thread - zaneyard - 04-07-2013 Well I could use a new sleeping bag as well so I might be checking that out. I just can't seem to get to sleep laying on my back so I need to lay on something a little less hard than the ground. Foam pad might be enough for me. They have sleeping bags there for a decent enough price Re: ACEN 2013 Travel & Accommodations Thread - zaneyard - 04-07-2013 (04-07-2013, 09:06 PM)Dtrain323i link Wrote: [quote author=zaneyard link=topic=6603.msg264594#msg264594 date=1365366482] check out Cabelas. I wish there were more reviews on cabelas site though. Re: ACEN 2013 Travel & Accommodations Thread - zaneyard - 04-07-2013 So after pretty much the entire afternoon of researching and reading reviews, I went ahead and ordered the ALPS Mountaineering Comfort Series Air Pad and the Thermarest Compressible Pillow. Had some amazon rewards points to burn so I didn't really pay much for all this. I can always combine this with a sleeping back and a cot (and obviously a tent) to have a pretty nice outdoor setup as well. I opted to not purchase a sleeping bag right now because I already have a cheapo one from when I was a kid that I can use as a blanket/pad. I might be interested in investing in a nicer bag at sometime, as I have a slight interest in motocamping. Re: ACEN 2013 Travel & Accommodations Thread - Eightball - 04-10-2013 Badges are here. I wonder if that code is important and shouldn't be posted or shared. Re: ACEN 2013 Travel & Accommodations Thread - Versus - 04-10-2013 stealing your identities now Re: ACEN 2013 Travel & Accommodations Thread - kaese - 04-10-2013 Acen doesn't want them posted because people make fake badges. No idea what the text string is.
