Actually, since the recent update that optimized it like crazy and made the controls a lot smoother, I've been feeling like playing it a lot more. Also, I haven't been keeping up to date with my Devil May Cry games, but I remember enjoying the earlier ones. Any opinions as to the quality of DMC4? Re: Steam Summer Sales Blowout - KarthXLR - 07-03-2010 I thought the general opinion of 4 was mediocre.
I have a PS3 controller. Can I get this to work?
probley. I forget the specific program you use to make things compatable , i have it ... right ... here ? one file called SaintsRow2xbox360cemu.zip XBOX 360 Controller emulator v1.0 for PC games using XINPUT. This program will allow you to use other controllers rather than the XBOX 360 Controller for games like 'Juiced 2' and 'The Club'. This is an early version and the buttons/axes are hard coded for the Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 Controller, but it may also work for other controllers. Notes: This program is a proxy dll making calls to standard direct input functions. This program expects your controller to be first in your game controllers list. The Left and Right trigger will not be analog. Tested with Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 / PSX Pad Controllers. Tested with 'Juiced 2 HIN' and 'The Club' PC Games There is no vibration feature in this first version. Installation: Backup then replace the xinput1_3.dll file in the game root directory with the one from this archive. Uninstallation: Replace xinput1_3.dll with your original backup copy. Usage: When the game starts you should hear a beep from your PC speaker. If you do not have a PC speaker you may not hear the beep, but it will still work. Play the game as normal. Re: Steam Summer Sales Blowout - beep beep diglett - 07-03-2010 holy shit 200 mil goddamn its a sweet ship but DAAAAMN also, id pay $30 for bc2, online MP with pubs can be fun and if enough people get it we might be able to start up bc2 wednesdays again Re: Steam Summer Sales Blowout - Odin - 07-03-2010 Yeah have fun with that diglett... Re: Steam Summer Sales Blowout - Versus - 07-03-2010 Yeah get APB instead. Re: Steam Summer Sales Blowout - Didzo - 07-03-2010 What about Just Cause 2 and Metro 2033? Re: Steam Summer Sales Blowout - K2 - 07-03-2010 I would definitely be up for some more BC2 when I get my new computer that can actually run it decently, especially if what Eightball said is true about the controls being smoothed out. Re: Steam Summer Sales Blowout - Versus - 07-03-2010 I dunno about smoother controls, but it does run better. Too bad most servers still have terrible hosts and therefore terrible hit registration. Re: Steam Summer Sales Blowout - Squishy3 - 07-03-2010 DMC4 is worth a playthrough if you like DMC games. Nero switches up the gameplay for the first half of the game, then you go back to Dante for the last half. If you liked DMC you'll like it. Simple as that. Re: Steam Summer Sales Blowout - Coppanuva - 07-03-2010 $2 for Freedom Force. Be a true patriot, buy freedom. Re: Steam Summer Sales Blowout - beep beep diglett - 07-03-2010 bought warband. thought $30 for the xpack to a $15 game was kinda messed up, but 15 is right down my alley Re: Steam Summer Sales Blowout - Surf314 - 07-04-2010 Can someone confirm for me that there will be 1 more round of sales at noon? I need to buy a few things before the sale is over but wanted to look at the last round first. It also hinted that Sunday's deals would be a "Best of the sale" one. Re: Steam Summer Sales Blowout - KorJax - 07-04-2010 Probably going to pass on metro2033. It really doesn't seem like the kind of game where I'll get good milage unless it's below $20 at about $15 or so. Maybe when the xmas sale happens :p Re: Steam Summer Sales Blowout - copulatingduck - 07-04-2010 Metro looks sick but my compy can't run it so I'll have to pass Re: Steam Summer Sales Blowout - Kirby - 07-04-2010 Bought L4D2 because it was $10 =x Also if you don't have Portal, it's $2 |
