I think we'll go with Friday, bit of a late notice from watching the thread but bleh gotta pick one...
Friday at 7pm CST, focus will be on party planning - what to bring and who is bringing, community fund needs, and last minute stragglers for attendance.
Minutes will be posted, if there are 'stuff to bring' gaps, people can respond here to fill them.

Wow, hard to believe it's in 3 weeks. I've been pretty damn busy with other things so I haven't been paying as much attention as I should have been. Here's what I can offer on behalf of me, my group and regarding the fund & Friday dinner.
Cosplay: My Archer costume is still go, but so far as I can tell it's just me as Sterling and Pie as Woodhouse. We're still looking for more, but I know we're pretty late in the game. This will be the only costume I'm doing this time around.
Logistics: Me, Foodies, and Generic should be arriving at the Hyatt around 8pm Thursday with traffic. My college friends will also be arriving around that time. Hopefully most of us will be ready to socialize that evening if people haven't departed for a barcade or something.
Community fund: Perhaps it's because I haven't been pushing it very hard, but the fund has had very few to no applicants even now. We have had about $200 pledged but have only used about $50 so far. I would like to keep it open and available since people's travel expenses will begin to tabulate in the next few days. If this is fruitful, we may need more donations. Pledges have been working well so far--you can pledge a certain amount and I'd only come calling if someone actually requested funding. Moving on...
Friday dinner: I tried to get the reservations at Lou Malnati's, but the downtown/loop locations don't seem to take large groups despite the info on their sites. I have tentatively made reservations at Bella Bacino's, another Chicago italian/deep dish place. Reservations are currently at 18-20, I will make  mention of it at the meeting to collect more formal RSVPs. I estimate costs will be around $20/person, $25 including train fare. More on that when they call me back. If that's no bueno, I'll look at Exchequer's.
I'm making a more formal itinerary document to keep better track of things. You should all start thinking about writing packing lists. Let's also figure out the party supplies this Friday. As with last year, I'm still offering to front purchases for those traveling by air--if you want to contribute something but don't want it on an airplane, tell me what to buy and I'll do it for you.

I must attend a friend's performance tomorrow at 7pm so I won't be at the mumble thing. Please do update this thread with the meeting notes or what have you and my room will definitely contribute to the party room.
