Might be more of a problem considering that would be 6 or 7 people...and I'm not sure how that would fit into the schedule with the masquerade and party prep

The 6 or 7 people would not be a problem, I am sure. He has had to cook for a lot of people before. But the only problem I see from this is schedule conflicts, like you stated.

If it's not yet available on DVD, I don't think it will be shown. Same goes for animes that have not yet been licensed and released in the US. The full viewings list is on pg38 of the con program book (which I have linked to in the very first post of this thread).
And are any of you planning on participating in the LAN tourny?

well it will be broadcast on bbc1 on saturday
well it says they will be doing some doctor who and torchwood but it doesn't say what episodes or if they are going to show the new ones maybe i'll just have to wait until i get home on sunday to watch them.

So that's why my friend was asking everyone if they had BBC...
Be on the lookout for Doctor Who/Torchwood panels at the con, and if the panel time overlaps with the broadcast time, then the panelists might actually show it. I don't know the con policies that well regarding this so it may or may not be allowed (although, I don't see why it shouldn't be).

yeah the season finale of torchwood will be going on saturday ( which would be pretty awesome to watch at the con), and a new episode of doctor who will be broadcast as well.

I wouldn't particularly advise bringing a comp for the LAN, last time it was pretty crappy and this time their scheduling (ex. TF2 from 8pm-6am) seems pretty noncommittal. When we brought (two of!) my computers last time we literally got no gaming done and I spent half the night paranoid that someone would walk in and out with them.
If Kase's got cups taken care of, I'll try to get mixers (cranberry juice, orange juice) and snacks.

Pineapple juice will also be needed if someone can rock that. And I'm bringing my laptop for the off chance of some TF2. Easy and portable TF2/CSS/CS1.6 machine

More beer and cups are always good, I have cookies and crackers covered, you'd be amazed what I got for $8 at our company store that was going out of code...
