[/quote]I refuse to buy a $300 console to play a single $60 game. It's the same reason I didn't buy an XBox (or 360) just to play Halo. It's fucking stupid.

wait i was under the impression that when steamworks for ps3 came out, compatible games in your library would be available for both platforms. when did this change?

That was back when everyone thought it was full-on steam integration, but really it's just the extras of steam.

The PS3 version of steamworks comes with:
Cross-Platform chat
Friends list
Steam Cloud
Auto-update
and I think it'll be cross-play for Portal.

Valve wasn't sure if Portal would be good or not, thats why the 1st was so short. Now they're like oh shit people love this brb making full length game.


I'm pretty sure some of the portal 2 jump/throw/catapult trailers are longer than Portal was.
