Had fun this morning, hooked up with some super friendly guys called syn. They helped me through a bit. The lightning is a bad ass. And phoenix sniping is a barrel of fun.
They put an AMS below a hill outside the base so I just kept running to just under the lip, shooting off my 19 rockets at people in the base, then running back for more.

played last night and got my nc to br5 just by shooting all the guns and driving all the vehicles again.
Gauser/phoenix combo is pretty ill, but i'm still trying to find equipment loadouts that maximize my invintory

Also congrats on finding out why the NC are annoying pricks. I still feel kinda guilty using that thing. Damage output doesn't really come close to a Lancer I guess, but I don't feel even remotely at risk using it However I fucking love the Gauss rifle to death, and NC seem to have more MAX units around than anyone, so having engineering is a lot of fun...
Anyway I BR 6'd a character last night, even though it won't be useable by the actual time we're supposed to play.

This was us with a BFR and 3 AA MAXs hiding underneath in the middle of TS and Vanu screwing with them for no apparent reason on a planet we didn't even have a base on.

Indeed it was.
I will definitely be there, whenever I get home from my business trip, as I was able to get PS running on my Home Theater PC. \o/ for Hybrid CrossFireX on a Radeon HD3400!
Also, if you get a legit copy of the game, get the beta Station Launcher. It requires very little fiddling to get it to work properly in Vista compared to the old one.

[/quote]All I've got is UniMAX, MA, Engi, and Medic. Need another level to get Adv Med, then I'll be good to go. Upside is that my NC chars are old, so they get some stuff for free (HSR for example)

We had a lot of fun last night. We did a bunch of surprise stabby, and BFR baiting with 3 AA Maxes. We even picked up a random AA MAX for 4.
We also pissed off all the CR5's which I think means job well done. They wanted everyone to go to Oshur and we ended up bringing a shit load of people to our shenanigans on Hossin. It was guerilla warfare at its finest.

After the NC losing most of the prime stealth shanking target areas we decided to do a repeat of the BFR raping party. We decided on Hossin (where we had no bases) as there was a decent battle going on between Vanu and TS by the warpgate. So we dropped in and grabbed the tower, then set off for the hills to get in between them and pick off the columns.
We had a good deal of fun and lured out a lot of planes. We got nailed hard several times but fortunately the BFR kept getting out. So we'd just grab new AA MAX suits from the tower and run back and join the crew. But then for some reason everytime we went back to the tower there were more random people there. Eventually some started following us. We ended up shooting one an invite because he was taking out planes around us like crazy and we wanted some of the experience. Then they started grabbing more towers. The people that came weren't going for bases they just kept doing what we were doing and picking fights with people.
Eventually we pissed people off enough they decided to start taking the towers from us, but we were holding it pretty good when I left. Meanwhile all the CR5's were extremely pissed because most of their soldiers were goofing off at Hossin with us instead of helping them at Oshur.
