[/quote] I would say technical users like me... I know many UNIX admins/developers who have switched to a mac when apple released OS X. The nice thing about OS X is that it's a very nice middle road between a 'commercially accepted' desktop and a UNIX operating system. When I'm on linux, stuff like flash can be a little bitchy and this is not something I can solve because it's a closed source program. There are also a lot of commercial apps (like photoshop, reason, etc) available for Mac OS X that aren't ported to linux (yet) let alone FreeBSD. One thing that won me over is that the polish on mac apps is second to none, the attention to detail is something I haven't seen on any other OS. But if you look beyond that, there is a fully functional FreeBSD system underneath that GUI... With the command line and tools that I need for work and development. Stuff that is available on windows but never work as nice as they do on a real UNIX... Things which make life easier for me like a good command line with a lot of nice apps. As I use the command line for many advanced file management/manipulation tasks which are, at best, a bitch to do in any GUI app unless you're lucky enough that someone wrote an app for your edge case. So yeah, it's a very nice bridge between commercial and (open source) UNIX which wins the hearts of many techies who have used linux or another UNIX because they need/want those tools but always wanted to have the commercial tools on their desktop as well. My 2 eurocent. I enjoyed it back when I used to play. I might actually be up for a (if nothing else ironic) Halo night. I think I'm alone there though. My brother does all of his computer science work and his grad research on his mac. Re: Killzone 2 Demo - Mission Difficult - 02-12-2009 I read an article about which OS is best for porn and OSX won.
