Wow, feigning... how original Valve.
Really I am excited to see the classic Spy ability return to TF. At least Valve has a nice twist with the eight second time limit.
In QWTF, you could feign in a corner and wait for people to run by; then just stabbing them.
I also like the fail 'Ski Mask Grappling Hook', as a another reference to the first TF.

I won't change, the normal watch is already perfect as far as I'm concerned. Had they never given the ability to gain charge from ammo packs I might consider switching, but as of right now you can be permanently invisible, and that suits my playstyle fine.
I don't see anything useful coming of the revolver or knife updates either, but we'll see. I'm still curious to see the Sniper melee weapon upgrade.

Actually I can see a use for the cloak and dagger, while running away you just stop, players chasing usually seem to assume that the spy will at some point re-appear when they run out of cloak.
Overall I wouldn't switch, but I can think of a few situations where it might be preferable

Most good spy players do this anyways, it's a simple mindgame that confuses just about anyone who's not good at thinking on the fly.

I could see the Revolver update having something to slow the enemy down, or poison them, only from behind. (poison, as in, weak direct damage (10-20) and then every five-ten seconds 15-25 damage dealt until he gets a Med Pack.)
Although, the Pyro already has the job of burning everyone, so most likely to slow the enemy.
