Nah, lets just go break down this wall
I'm actually surprised that almost none of the exploits have been fixed, even with them being so widely known. I can think of three off the top of my head that allow you to bypass events entirely and the said closets that can ruin versus. I doubt the original design of them was to hunker down and create a wall of bullets that no one can get past. Hopefully it means a big update is coming, with the SDK in tow, but I've pretty much stopped playing L4D cause it's getting so repetitive. I've played all the maps a half dozen times at least and the AI Director isn't that good to keep each playthrough all that fresh cause there are still times when you just know whats going to happen. I need new maps so that I play those more, so that when we go back to the standard maps, I don't feel like I'm just running the paces again.
I think a great game-mode addition would be a human director like in Zombie Master Re: Chet says "DLC Announcement Soon" - Honest - 01-07-2009 Protip: Closet = run from the side and melee the first guy in line. Bitches don't know 'bout whittling health down. Sure it feels fuckawesome taking out one guy on your own but unless the enemy team is functionally retarded this is not happening. Right click as hunter for fun times 'cause closets exist as much as competent teammates who will knock your ass out if you try to pounce them when they're bunched up. ...Now all the other exploits are retarded. I really can't see any reason they have not been fixed, especially shit that's become widespread like the No Mercy door, or that trick to spawn tons of AI hunters in Versus.
Well I would imagine it like an RTS interface, pseudo 3d, you if you've ever zoomed out on a map and can see in all the ceilings, sort of like that. You start off with X points, normal zombie spawn automatically You spend points on spawning boss zombies, tanks, & hordes. You can get additional points if you do things like place weapons caches, pipe bombs/molotovs, ect. For example, you could play a game where you barely spawn any boss zombies and save all your points to spawn two tanks back to back, or you might decide not to spawn any tanks at all and be very stingy on item drops. Re: Chet says "DLC Announcement Soon" - Surf314 - 01-12-2009 From what I heard there is going to be a big bug fix patch this week but as for the DLC who knows? Re: Chet says "DLC Announcement Soon" - Maxon - 01-14-2009 I just want to see the damn SDK come out. There are big maps just waiting for release right now such as the mall remake and I just saw that someone is recreating Resident Evil 2's Racoon City with the landmark locations. I'd be all for DLC coming later if it meant we could have custom stuff in the meantime. |
