Re: Adventure time! - Luinbariel - 03-04-2012 Well, it didn't come out quite right. But at least it came out, I guess.... Re: Adventure time! - kaese - 03-04-2012 It looks great though! Really adorable. Re: Adventure time! - Maxon - 03-04-2012 It's pretty right on unless you really want to get super technical on Cakes proper dimensions, but I think it looks great lol Re: Adventure time! - Luinbariel - 03-04-2012 Thanks! I'm more annoyed at my crooked lines. I ALWAYS make something crooked, somehow. Re: Adventure time! - CaffeinePowered - 03-04-2012 (03-04-2012, 09:20 PM)Luinbariel link Wrote: Thanks! That's all about machine control and machine quality, the feet should assist you pushing the fabric through, not the other way around. Since you had asked me about the ears, they aren't bad but it looks like you used and overlay instead of sewing the two colors in line like you did with the other parts.
Nope, I did exactly what you suggested. But the two types of fabric on the ears are very different; one is felt, and one is a pink corduroy. Re: Adventure time! - Luinbariel - 03-15-2012 Well, I have now completed my hat and, as such, the costume. Woooo! Also dyed the skirt for my heavy to grey. Last year, it was this light tan color and totally stood out from the rest of the outfit. Now that it's grey it'll hopefully work out much better. Now just gotta make HeK's shirt and belts... Re: Adventure time! - kaese - 03-15-2012 Looks awesome! Can you store stuff in the backpack? Re: Adventure time! - Luinbariel - 03-15-2012 (03-15-2012, 05:07 PM)Käse link Wrote: Looks awesome! Yup! It's got a zipper (although my god I fucked up on the zipper and it looks a bit messy). In has a lot of space though. Re: Adventure time! - CaffeinePowered - 03-15-2012 Nice, are you going to make a sword of some kind too...? Re: Adventure time! - Luinbariel - 03-15-2012 Maybe, not sure if there will be time. Re: Adventure time! - Maxon - 03-15-2012 Came out pretty awesome Re: Adventure time! - rumsfald - 03-15-2012 (03-15-2012, 06:43 PM)Maxon link Wrote: Came out pretty awesome Re: Adventure time! - kaese - 03-15-2012 (03-15-2012, 05:16 PM)Luinbariel link Wrote:
Yup! I stored my camera, noms, etc in my medipack and my cellphone and wallet in my ammo pouches haha. I'm hoping to keep the same in there, though I'll have to keep something soft in it anyway, since it deforms pretty easily.
