It's okay, i was feeling bad for asking so much stuff anyway.

I'll try to see if i can buy something from this sale.. but i miss the Winter Sale, where they have everything on sale, no only packs and a few games

So, I don't know how high the interest level for that Global Agenda game is here, but it is now confirmed to be going completely subscription free. If you were ever interested in it, but that was a turn off for you, it's on sale now and you can just hold onto it until then.

I may do this...

I hope a couple people at least pick up Empire at War. Then I'll have people to play against  ;D

Re: Steam Summer Sales Blowout - KorJax - 06-25-2010

STALKER Call of Priprat is $13.39 if you have the steam version of Shadow of Chernobyl/Clear Sky installed. Otherwise it's full price.

But Clearsky is also on sale for about $7 so you can still "save" as long as you get clear sky first.

It looks fun at least. It's hard to feel ripped off for five bucks too.

these sales have given me some good ideas on games to not torrent.

in b4 spore /facepalm

Re: Steam Summer Sales Blowout - Eightball - 06-25-2010

Updated with today's deals. Serious Sam pack for $7.50 is more than worth it, as I'm sure many others will agree. Keep an eye on this thread in that regard; Serious Sam HD is one of the few games where duplicates can be gifted. Resident Evil 5, while not as good as number 4, is still easily worth $12.50 or more. Come on, you know you always wanted to do The Mercenaries co-op.

On another note, I bought the THQ pack and Bioshock 2. I'm also keeping an eye on Bully: Scholarship Edition and the Max Payne bundle still. Still waiting for some input on the Telltale games--do you guys think they're worth it? How long will they keep me occupied?

So civ4 kinda rapes

On my first round i got in a war with ganghas kahn because he was a total dick, but we never finished because we ran out of turns

On my second round he was also in the game

around 99 turns left i got Japan, Russia, and Mali to declare war on him

I also declared war on him by sending 3 nukes to his capitol

It was a good round

Anyone buying Global Agenda?  If we can get a few people I might consider jumping in while its on sale.

I just bought it, Tracedarkwind has it, Generic has it, probably a few more.  It looks pretty fun

It's pretty fun so far but there's definitely some weird balance issues to figure out.

Re: Steam Summer Sales Blowout - copulatingduck - 06-26-2010

is l4d2 worth it at that price? I never played anything but the demo of l4d, and while it was fun, it seemed like it would get old fast, but I feel like $10 is hard to regret spending
