Pretty sure it's just movesets. Changing vitality of characters would probably be considered cheating.
Rephrase: Is the vitality of each character locked to its movesets? Re: Street Fighter 4 PC - Squishy3 - 07-13-2009 Absolutely no idea. Re: Street Fighter 4 PC - Tragic Hero - 07-15-2009 Just got this for PC: Had no clue how much better this could look on my computer than it does on my PS3 Also, its convenient that my special edition (not the tourney edition) fight stick for my PS3 works on my PC Re: Street Fighter 4 PC - chronomaster - 07-16-2009 (07-15-2009, 08:09 PM)Tragic Hero link Wrote: Just got this for PC: Had no clue how much better this could look on my computer than it does on my PS3Good to hear that. Now I don't have to worry about getting a 360 one. Re: Street Fighter 4 PC - Squishy3 - 07-18-2009 Okay, finally bought this. Bring it on bitches. Re: Street Fighter 4 PC - [fr31ns]Karrde - 07-18-2009 Indeed. Still annoyed with the timing in this game. Utter BS that I can't super people immediately after tripping them or while they're getting up like you could in MVC/MVCII. Re: Street Fighter 4 PC - Squishy3 - 07-18-2009 Quote:Karrde link=topic=3245.msg98990#msg98990 date=1247940615]no, that's stupid without an invulnerable quick recover like in BlazBlue or GG. Well, it's not invulnerable in GG or BB, but you can control which direction you roll to leave your opponent guessing. If you got a super off of any trip, this game would be ridiculous. I can teach you how to combo into any character's super or ultra, you just have to learn to hit confirm it. Example, Ryu: His bread and butter into ultra is either an anti-air weak dragon punch, two quarter circles forward +3punch, and voila, you hit ultra. Another BnB is forward +heavy punch, into heavy dragon punch, focus cancel that (hit focus attack directly after you hit with the heavy dragon punch, dash forward IMMEDIATELY), and then do two quarter circles forward with 3 punch. http://www.ustream.tv/channel/evochampionship live stream of the biggest fighting game tournament in the US, if not the world 4 is on tomorrow, they're doing hd remix and tekken and soul calibur tonight I think Re: Street Fighter 4 PC - Dave - 07-18-2009 (07-18-2009, 02:00 PM)Squishy3 link Wrote:
Karrde link=topic=3245.msg98990#msg98990 date=1247940615]no, that's stupid without an invulnerable quick recover like in BlazBlue or GG. Also, how does championship mode work? When you win you play against some one else who won the first round, then if you make it into the finals you play against someone else that made it into the finals. As you win you earn grade points and if you win the finals the grade points turn into Championship points that determine your ranking, or something close to that.
swap grade points with championship points. the total championship points you earn at the end of the tournament determine how many grade points you get, but nobody has bothered to decipher the formula I think. |
