I can't get System Shock 2 to run at all, or I'd be playing it now.

Google? There are workarounds to get it to run on newer systems and it is more than worth the effort.

I have gotten it to run on Vista with no problems, so Im sure you can figure it out

I've downloaded the workaround for XP/2000, and it didn't help at all.  When I start a new game the intro movie plays and then the game freezes.

Ok new problem. I found an ISO for SS2, but how do I install it? Especially with vista...

Caff, you have a single-core processor still.  Worth nothing that if you have dual core, you need to set SS2 to run on one core it it will asplode.

Also I never played that far in Deus Ex, and I own a nice pretty goty boxed copy c.c'

Re: Call of Duty 4 or Bioshock? - ScottyGrayskull - 08-08-2008

Something I remembered... is that CoD4 should be played at least for the levels when the nuke is detonated. Playing a level where the whole point is to crawl out of the helicopter wreckage and look at your dead comrades, slowly dieing of radiation poisoning the entire time all from the first person viewpoint is quite the experience. Smile

SS2 takes place like 50 years after SS1 and involves a different person. A soldier I think, which makes sense given the training that makes up the tutorial.
