Re: Final Fantasy IV DS - [fr31ns]Karrde - 08-06-2008 An update of my playthrough. Seems a lot of the enemies that used to be easy are hard and the hard ones are now easy. I whooped Bahamut's monkey ass but had difficulty immediately prior with the fsking CPU but showed Elements who's boss in a about 5 sec. Go figure. Re: Final Fantasy IV DS - Maxon - 08-21-2008 Just grabbed the game myself since Florida was getting a storm and in case of power outage, I wanted something to play. Since I've been in an old school mood lately and Chrono Trigger won't be released till November, I picked this up. Never played the FF games for the SNES, just never knew anyone who had them, and I'm liking it so far. But after playing Super Mario RPG which is like the easiest RPG ever, and I'm getting my butt wooped and I only just got past the Mist Village lol Will give it some more play soon. And slightly funny story related to FF on the SNES, but a year or two ago, the local pawn shop got a box of SNES games, all of which had the original boxes and stuff. I bought Mega Man X, Super Metroid, and Final Fantasy 3 I believe all for 5 bucks each. I sold Super Metroid and FF3 for like 150 to 160 bucks total on ebay, the FF3 game for like 110 to 120 bucks alone XD Re: Final Fantasy IV DS - rumsfald - 10-17-2008 Necro-zap. I just finished a month of renting this, it was pretty good. I found the graphics to be less kiddie than FF3 and FF revenant wings, which is to say an improvement. Re: Final Fantasy IV DS - Dave - 10-17-2008 to much grinding, fuck that shit. Re: Final Fantasy IV DS - timepants - 10-18-2008 (10-17-2008, 02:11 PM)Dave link Wrote: to much grinding, fuck that shit. I find your lack of hardcoreness disturbing, Dave. Re: Final Fantasy IV DS - Vongore - 10-18-2008 Final Fantasies are boring, i had 1 for the NES, IV for the SNES and that's it. Now FFs are all about graphics and generic characters, and they are making leveling up each time way more complicated, they should return to their bases and make a simple RPG (<3 Earthbound) Re: Final Fantasy IV DS - KarthXLR - 10-18-2008 I got uninterested once I found out I was about 10 levels too short and missed an important cave to level up in that I can't get to now. Re: Final Fantasy IV DS - Fail Medic - 11-17-2008 Necro to delcare that I am so fucking done hunting for Rainbow Pudding. Rot in Troia for all I care, Scrotumway. brb goin' to moon Re: Final Fantasy IV DS - Squishy3 - 11-18-2008 Just started playing this 'cause we got it in at work.
