Just throwing this out here... But it may be advisable to ban travel to the Nether until the Redstone update comes out. I have no idea of when this is will happen and have no understanding of the way meincrack handles world gen but presumably if we don't go to the nether until after the Redstone update, Quartz will still spawn in areas we won't need to travel for three or four hours to get to.
