I'm planning on having my Fallout Vault Scientist costume done for Dragon*Con this year, and can bring it to ACEN if someone else wants to do one from Fallout, otherwise I'm leaving it at home.

Mine's jumpsuit, new soon-to-become-ratty lab coat, boots, (hopefully) gloves, PiP-Boy, (hopefully) God-Gun pistol and (double hopefully) holster. I'm not putting a number on my jumpsuit because the scientists' numbers aren't visible.
I've got a good buddy who's doing a raider, plan is to wander around the con at Dragon*Con like he took me hostage or some nonsense.

Also, if someone wants to try to snag a Panorama Suite as a 'backup', I may have trouble getting a room because the block opens DURING Dragon*Con

If the dates are indeed 15th-17th that will be the weekend after finals again. So I have a tentative schedule ok. I guess it depends on how much cash I have after the end of this school year.

There has been no update on social media or their forums/website. Please call in at your leisure tomorrow and post results here, you must call the hotel directly to try to make a reservation, mention the 'Anime Central Room Block' for May 14-17th 2015

I tried texting/calling those of you who I think are running rooms, nobody but HeK answered. Gotta call and mention ACEN / Midwest animation promotion, passkey website says no availability, but the block is open and all the suites are already gone!
I've got a double/double for Thurs-sun for 180/night and cancelled my backup reservation.

I called in and was told that the reservation block was locked until Sept 2 'morning'.
The attendant says she attempted to book regardless and the system did not let her.
She also said that the notes on the block initially said that it was to be available at midnight Sept 1st, but was changed.
Advised to try throughout the day and Wed morning.

Thanks for the call, I would have forgotten otherwise.
Called in to Hyatt reservations, they said I'd have to contact the Regency O'Hare directly because of the event booking. Did that, and the agent said that, being Labor Day, those people wouldn't be in until tomorrow. *shrug*
Will try again later today, just in case.
