I'll be attending. I intend to catch a ride with Atom and co. again this year. Not sure about a room yet though, so consider me as looking for a room.

Heh, no one took notes down but here is the jist of it...

  • Confirmed 9 Rooms including the suite (Space for Approximately 45 - 50 people)
  • One double room _must_ be connected to the suite and open the doors at all times for more space
  • Due to space concerns this year, all invitees to party-cat must be cleared through me
  • Furthermore invitees _must_ be attending the convention,
  • Outside trips likely a thing, see Eightball for Pizza, Caffeine for Thursday Drinks
  • Everyone attending atm is believed to be 21+
  • Eightball likely to run community fund again - Might not be as generous as in previous years, if funds may be tight for you - start saving now
  • If you used the fund in previous years consider tossing some dosh its way
  • Post your attendance intentions here, Caff will compile it into the speadsheet and start assigning people out

I'd volunteer my room to be connected to the suite but when I tried to extend my reservation to Thursday night as well, Hyatt tells me it's not available. Bummer.

Try calling them. It may not let you change because of the convention rate.

Convention rate goes Thur - Mon if I recall correctly, just call the hotel (and if they dont let you call more)

Also I was not aware you had a room, so I will add you to the room list...

i'll try to be around more, friday/saturday night kinda sucked last year b/c i was worried those friends of a friend would do something in a room that wasn't under my name or someone in my other group's name and i felt like i had to watch them

So Hyatt extended my res for Thursday night but they were sold out of doubles at con rate. I currently have a king for thu night and double fri/sat nights. If anyone wants to trade reservations hit me up.... (8ball you said something about wanting a 2 night res instead)

I'm pretty sure that I'm coming to this. I might have to work out the logistics of it all because I think I'll have a final on Thursday morning but as long as nothing comes up financially I'll be showing up.

Hello all. I return from the land of obscurity. The meeting went down while I was visiting family in Missouri. I've been trying to look at my finances and year plan since.

Finances might be tough, especially since I'll likely be driving solo this time. I'd risk Hitler bus but if I actually finish(start) my cosplay I can't take it on the bus with me. Although a 9 hour drive in a robot suit would certainly be interesting for the other passengers. Regardless, I still want to join in. Acens been my one big fun thing to do every year and I'd be kicking myself if I missed out. I'll sort out the details for the trip as I go along.

Well considering Dtrain is going to be in the Chicago area that weekend, can you hitch a ride with him? He just won't be at much of the con proper iirc.
