Re: BRBU Camping Edition - VeraLapsa - 05-22-2013 Sounds fun I miss camping. Re: BRBU Camping Edition - rumsfald - 05-22-2013 if you woke up in Karrde's tent with a sore butt, would you tell anyone? I wouldn't. Re: Re: BRBU Camping Edition - Dtrain323i - 05-22-2013 Well have to probably rent a couple adjoining sites since most of the sites I'm finding have limits on how many people can stay on a site. Sites Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2 Re: BRBU Camping Edition - FlyingMongoose - 05-22-2013 The site right next door to the one I linked to has a couple of cottages on it as well. I don't remember what it's called or its cost though. But I've been to the one I linked to when like 20 or 25 people have been there... I agree, I mean, I probably would fly in honestly.  But I think it would be worth it because I have not gone camping in a while. People on the coasts could fly into Omaha and I can pick them up and we can convoy up. I saw the place you mentioned, and that looks like somewhere I would want to go, so yeah I am down for it. Plus, South Dakotas probably not that expensive to fly to. Re: BRBU Camping Edition - The Generic Name - 06-05-2013 So here is my idea: Some weekend in August 2014 South Dakota (Dtrain had an idea for a campsite, and it looked pretty baller) That sound good for everyone(who wants to go)? Re: BRBU Camping Edition - [fr31ns]Karrde - 06-05-2013 Tent cot I think is designed for backpacking. Also I can probably do anything any time as long as I have warning like 2 months out. [/quote] That one was like....3'x3'x6" when compact, so its something I would take if I was bringing a car or something. Of course, the one right there is the second largest model. I am not sure how small the smallest model compacts to, but it came in a box a lot smaller than mine. Tentcot I brought to ACEN is something I would NEVER backpack with. too cumbersome. Check out Warbonnet, custom hiking hammocks. Friend of mine bicycled half way across the country and back with one. http://www.warbonnetoutdoors.com/ Re: BRBU Camping Edition - Elder - 06-06-2013 i have to say the suggestion of baraboo is fine with me. Ive been there twice and know that regional geology of the area quite well. also its not real camping unless youre sleeping on the ground. Cabin is iffy.  I put it in its own category of cabin camping. (06-06-2013, 01:03 PM)Elder link Wrote: i have to say the suggestion of baraboo is fine with me.
