1. Washi from Haibane Renmei. Actually hoping to have it ready for CONvergence.
2. Classic style Vanu BR25 REXO armor with beret and sun glasses. No backpack but I want to make a classic Lasher as well.

Tin Soldier was my big project for Spring. Fall will be my Gekiganger III cosplay cosplay, and hopefully over the Winter/Spring I can get Schwartz Bruder done.
I support the Dtrain cosplays. Someone should run a vendors booth selling nothing but Dtrain memorabilia.
Also, if you guys are making vehicle costumes, someone should make Evil Cheese a bathtub motorcycle.

Also, does anyone have any ideas for cosplays that go well for red beards? I really don't want to have to shave if I'm going to cosplay.

Next year is looking pretty good for me going to ACEN.
I've got more than enough dosh saved for a decent car and/or can probably travel with Mongoose should he decide to go. I've also started planning a cosplay of the Hero from Dragon Quest 8.

Trigun is indeed amazing. I've seen plenty of Vash and Wolfwoods (some amazing and some meh) but I did see my first Millie cosplayer this weekend. Her stun gun was really well built and her costume was great. A full Trigun troupe would be pretty interesting =]

Some thoughts for ACEN next year:
Party room was great, let's get it again. Maybe just one this time? I never actually got around to seeing the second one, so it might be more economic to just get one. I'm open to the idea of others contributing a small amount to help pay for the room ($5 a person would help so much).
GroupMe was pretty much perfect, let's keep it as it is. Hell, I intend to use it in general for the rest of the year.
It might have been good for me to toss some pre-determined group cosplay times, we'll see for next year.
More mixers, more range of alcohol (we probably had 8 liters of rum, only 2 of vodka). Some dish towels. We never really did the ice-tub or cooler, would have been nice. I think we could have stood to invite more people.

How much did people wind up paying for the other rooms? When all was said and done, my room wound up being $211 per person. Was it that much more than in other rooms? I'd say the pros of the room were having two bathrooms, lots of places to crash so sleeping arrangements weren't very difficult, and just a lot of space in general. Cons, only one bed, it's not directly connected to another VIP suite, and a personal con was that I was hanging out in Party Cat more than my own room, so I guess I didn't really get the whole value of being in a VIP room. We can revisit next year, though, or at least book it anyway and trade down if we see fit.
