I'm out - Work has me in San Antonio earlier that week and Denver on that following Monday. The one goddamn week I want to spend my vacation days. I might be able to swing by for a day if I get lucky. I will be at Otakon and this means that all the money I saved up can go to another con somewhere down the line

I was not impressed by MAGfest when I went a few years ago. I may go again, though. But not this year, since I'll be in the UK Dec 29-Jan 12th D:

I'm curious how the new venue will turn out. Will MAGFest be able to maintain its more intimate party-like atmosphere or will it get too "big" and become something more akin to ACEN or Katsucon?

MAGfest blew when I went, because I didn't know anyone. That 'intimate party atmosphere' also completely closes down all fun for people who aren't regulars. I doubt it'll grow much.

do have a question though, is this going to be enjoyable if i really don't give a shit about anime? geekkon was ok for the simple fact that the video game room owned.
also, I'm going to need to start lifting hard if i'm going to be able to cosplay as the incredible hulk.

I had a fun time, but I wasn't there for very long. There are a LOT of vidya game cosplayers, a lot more than there were at D*CON for example, so you'll probably be fine.
All else fails, you can get drunk with Dtrain and I and leer at half-naked cosplayers the whole time.

Getting drunk and staring at girls asses is the entire reason I go. I don't watch anime or play Zelda, final fantasy, or WoW. If all goes according to plan, I will have at least one gallon of Moonshine. We will get white girl wasted

I can't comment on whether it will be enjoyable or not for you since I like anime, but I had a good time last year even though I stood in line for 6 hours, and only really went to the dealers/artist room. I think the acen atmosphere is nice (so many cosplayers).

yeah, but of course i would have to adapt the idea for reality, the hulks muscles are just out of control for a human body.
if i really stick to it four months is plenty of time to gain some good muscle mass, i'm already part way in i just need to put a little more focus on upper body stuff.
but yeah, put me down for tentative for the simple fact that i like slutty girls

well depending on what happens in the next week or so, i'l have to get back to you guys on this.
got fired from the job i was at so i'm applying to everything I can find now, and I'm also looking at going back to school. I have an interview next thursday and I should hear back from that the next day. If I don't get it I'm probably going to register for classes at UW - Stout. In that case, I wouldn't be able to do this. but if I get this job I'll be working real close to home so I will be able to at least come for saturday and part of sunday.
