But yeah, I wore it to ACEN and I'll probably be wearing it at Otakon as well. What did you have in mind for the arm/thigh bands? I was actually somewhat pleased with how the armband came out aside from the seams that started to rip out due to my sewing noobness, which luckily can be fixed with a little glue. I decided to skip the thigh bands because I ran out of time, but I'm certainly open to suggestions. Re: Evil Cheese's HL2 Rebel Cosplay - EZ41 - 05-09-2012 im not the same anti citizen as you, i took the model that wares the green gear and old C17 cover all theres a white guy and a black guy as for the vest ive decided im going to scrap mine and make one out of foam flooring mats at home depot for 18$. ill heat gun forum the vest and then sew semi stiff nylon mesh over it to give it a official looking bit then paint it with a light coat of black and rub a tshirt with silver paint on parts to get the warn look because the vest is kinda hard to tell what its made of i thought a mesh with hard foam cell interior would look pretty proper and G.I. ish i can get the cone shaped thing on the back covering the spine that way the pads are by HUSKY i got mine 2 sets for 5$ and they look good for my models valve files i have to get pics off a pc in another state so im waiting on someone to turn on team viewer and send the code the ones i have on this pc arent good and really dont make it look surreal imean you wanna see a anticitizen on a lightrail train loathing over finally getting to sit and rest or some Rtard in a wool sweater holding a ipod? hahaha Re: Evil Cheese's HL2 Rebel Cosplay - k0ala - 05-22-2012 Furries in a Blender -- "John Freeman" Second video: John Freeman and Gordon Freeman dancing to this music. Re: Evil Cheese's HL2 Rebel Cosplay - EZ41 - 06-01-2012 it was so feckn hot... ive got commitment lol Re: Evil Cheese's HL2 Rebel Cosplay - Evil Cheese - 06-01-2012 Yeah that does look pretty good. I like the pads too, I might try to find some of those for my legs. I'm worried about overheating as well at Otakon. Nothing like summer in Baltimore to induce heat exhaustion. Re: Evil Cheese's HL2 Rebel Cosplay - CaffeinePowered - 06-01-2012 Hm...the only thing I think you need is some paint drips on the lambda, looks very nice |
