I ended up deciding that for my purposes it wasn't right, and sold it to my GF and went back to using my Kindle Keyboard.
@ain: I may buy a fullblown tablet eventually, but not any time soon.

I wonder if it invalidates the no-questions-asked extended warranty though. If so, I'll probably leave it alone.
