Well multiplayer news is out there now. I wasn't expecting anything exciting for MW3 and so...I wasn't when they showed off the new gear, new game mode, and that killstreaks are kinda put into some sorta...class system, though you can barely call it that.

The new game mode is just TDM, but to get kills counted, you have to pick up their dogtags.

So one class doesn't even get you killstreaks, just keeps giving you more perks, basically like building up perks in the zombie game mode that came before.
Also Elite is a 50 dollar a year membership, which saves you 10 bucks on all the DLC, the premium features seeming to be kinda pointless unless your a hardcore clan guy.
Any news today was softened by the confirmation that killstreaks stack like before, unlike being fixed like they were in Black Ops. Pretty annoying, though grenade launcher abuse is said to have been fixed and that using a grenade launcher might even count towards a waste of an attachment. We'll see on that.
Overall, MW3 is still hovering at a rental. All the multiplayer clips I saw just further cemented the lack of improvements to the series as they have been reusing the same sounds and pretty much the same UI since MW1.

I'm probably at a level just below interested for the game. Some of the changes are nice, but so much of it just feels like MW2.5 instead of 3. Certainly not a buy at full price right now.

a fixed mw2 would be really, really good and having perks as streak rewards sounds amazing. wonder what juggernaut does exactly though

It's actually pretty funny. You get the Juggernaut suit and a riot shield and your kind invincible for a time or just have alot more health as you run around and wack people with a riot shield.

It's also a part of Spec Ops I think, where you play as the Juggernaut to defuse bombs and then have a buddy with a sniper rifle and killstreaks help cover you.
