THIS MAN KNOWS HE IS CHEF TEAVANA IS AWESOME Re: Coffee & Tea Thread - KarthXLR - 08-27-2009 I'm pretty light on coffee. I like frappachinos. :O not much else. As for tea, I have not tried a single Arizona Iced Tea that I haven't enjoyed. real tea sux tho Re: Coffee & Tea Thread - A. Crow - 08-27-2009 Luin, your large pictures are murdering the crappy wireless I get in the barracks at $40 a month. Before I joined the army, I had drank 5 cups of coffee. Total. In my life. And not really liked it. Now, after the ravages of BCT sleep deprivation and the snore-fest that is OCS classes, I drink the stuff every chance I get. I don't care how it tastes, I don't care what you put it in, I don't care what brew it is, just give me the Damned Caffeine. Now. Re: Coffee & Tea Thread - CaffeinePowered - 08-27-2009 (08-27-2009, 06:18 PM)CopulatingDuck link Wrote: luckily caffeine has never done anything to wake me up so im not missing out I could fix that, whats your cell phone number, I'll call you at 4:30am when I wake up for work and yell at you to get up :-* Re: Coffee & Tea Thread - copulatingduck - 08-27-2009 (08-27-2009, 07:39 PM)Caffeine link Wrote:
I could fix that, whats your cell phone number, I'll call you at 4:30am when I wake up for work and yell at you to get up :-*
I'm usually still awake at that hour Re: Coffee & Tea Thread - KarthXLR - 08-27-2009 (08-27-2009, 08:37 PM)CopulatingDuck link Wrote:
I could fix that, whats your cell phone number, I'll call you at 4:30am when I wake up for work and yell at you to get up :-*
I'm usually still awake at that hour
I hear you duck. Give me sugar, and I'll wake up almost spontaneously, but caffeine won't do anything for me. Re: Coffee & Tea Thread - Luinbariel - 08-27-2009 (08-27-2009, 07:23 PM)A. Re: Coffee & Tea Thread - SAVAGE-0 - 08-28-2009 I drink coke.... and mtn dew... I'm more of a sugar-holic, so bitter coffee is out of the question for my taste buds. I can eat chocolate covered coffee beans. I can stand the chinese restaurant tea with a shit ton of sugar in it... any suggestions for teas that are similar to that? haha I know nothing... I think most tea (maybe not the black) would be ok for me so long as there was like 3tbsp of sugar in it.. haven't tried any though Re: Coffee & Tea Thread - at0m - 08-28-2009 I got spoiled by Espresso when I was in training...the company I was training with was Austrian and had a lot of European employees in the office, so they had a hardcore single-serve espresso machine hooked to the water supply & always on. I used to have coffee cups full of it, it was delicious. Now I have a Keurig single-serve coffee machine in my branch office. Not great, but not horrible IMO. The crazy italian espresso machine was better. As far as tea goes, I'm boring: I love Lipton's black tea (the normal stuff). It's delicious. I haven't come across a tea that I've liked more. I love mountain dew too, although nothing beats a good cup of coffee in the morning for waking me up, getting me going, and giving me fucking horrible coffeebreath. Re: Coffee & Tea Thread - A. Re: Coffee & Tea Thread - CaffeinePowered - 09-11-2009 *bump* Finished the first back of Yellow Meadow Organic that I had, very good stuff, and I'm having my first cup of Ku Ding Cha. Its unlike any other tea I've had, without any additives it starts with a moderate bitter taste when it hits the tongue, followed by a slightly sweet if bland aftertaste, with a hint of what I can only describe as uncooked pasta. I would highly recommend any of you that are tea connoisseurs to try getting from the tea house, the link is in the OP, and while the ordering system is antiquated, its very well worth it. Re: Coffee & Tea Thread - CaffeinePowered - 11-19-2009 *bump for oolong* Stuff is awesome and I don't think you can get it most places, for those of you that don't know Oolong is a type of tea that is inbetween black and green in terms of oxidation http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oolong_tea Re: Coffee & Tea Thread - Luinbariel - 11-19-2009 I still prefer tea in only one form; cold green tea mixed with lemonade.
