TOH mentioned to me that he'd call to have his room be attached; definitely re-confirm with him and/or Caff. Presumably we should all be pushing to be "near" the VIP suite though.

Though I was hoping it could be closer to the actual con date, Doodle has spoken. Meeting will be this upcoming Saturday, April 25th at 8:00pm CST (rip Kase, versus, and strifehunter).
On the agenda will be:
- Finalization of rooms - Party annex, Pay your room leaders
- Travel arrangements - Arrival times, carpools, when your room will be available, PARKING
- Contact info - ESPECIALLY ROOM LEADERS, so please be present
- Party supplies - Actually assigning stuff this time
- Specific plans - As much as we can, though ACEN has STILL not released their program handbook
- Money - Arrange to have your rooms, badges, & booze paid for
We'll need someone to record minutes for this meeting. Ideally the result will be a comprehensive article, with the meeting covering enough ground to really, actually, not require another meeting 2 weeks for now. Though I won't mind a mumblefuck for hype purposes then...

here's an idea: everyone bring their own cup for booze to cut down on plastic waste! Also it'll be easy to identify individual cups.
(we can still have a few backup solo cups for the nubs who manage to break/lose their cup, or are unable to bring one)

A couple of people have run into issues with GroupMe recently and I wanted to post the solution to those problems so that if anybody else runs into them you can refer to this post.
The main thing is that once you voluntarily leave a GroupMe group, you cannot be invited back as an anti spam measure. Nobody, not even the group leader can re-invite you. There are three methods to solve this problem depending on how you last interfaced with our GroupMe BRB, Uninstalling group (or the BRBU Announcements group for that matter as well).
1. If the last time you interfaced with one of our groups was via text, then you must send a text to the BRB, Uninstalling group number (let me know if you need and I'll PM it to you). This will automatically have you rejoin the group and the you can switch over to the app if you prefer once you've rejoined.
2. If the last time you interfaced with one of our groups was via the app and you left the group then you must go to the "Archives" section of the left global settings panel and select "Groups You Left". Under that header you should see one or both of our groups if you were previously invited. Tap on it if you wish to rejoin.
3. If the last time you interfaced with on of our groups was via the website then you can go to https://app.groupme.com/former_groups and log in with your account. If you were previously invited you should see one or both of the BRBU groups in there.
Another handy tip is that if you are using the GroupMe app and you want to continue to be active in the group (keep it unmuted) and see notifications in the notifications panel but don't want to be pestered with a notification tone or vibration, you can go to the settings menu for that specific group by swiping open the right panel, tapping settings > Sound and selecting silent and then uncheck vibrate. This is how I have GroupMe set up the rest of the year when I'm not at ACEN.
